The Product

What exactly is FAVO?

FAVO is a modular, wall-mounted display system made from 100% recycled ABS plastic. It’s designed specifically for LEGO® sets and collectibles. Hexagonal modules connect to each other without tools, mount to your wall with just two screws, and expand one module at a time as your collection grows.

See how it works -->

What's the difference between F.1 and F.2?

Size. The F.1 is the standard module (96 × 87 × 40 mm, 37g). The F.2 doubles those dimensions (192 × 170 × 80 mm, 100g) for larger sets. Both use the same connection system, the same recycled material, and the same Base Plates. They connect to each other to be mixed freely in any configuration.

What are the three back options?

Every FAVO module is available with your choice of back wall:

  • Open Back (OB) - no back wall. Your collection floats in the hexagonal frame with the wall behind visible. The lightest, most minimal option.
  • HEX Back (HB) - a honeycomb pattern cut into the back wall. The FAVO signature look. Let’s light through while creating a distinctive texture. When multiple HEX modules connect, the honeycomb patterns align across your display.
  • Full Back (FB) - a solid back wall. Each module becomes its own enclosed display case. Clean background, full framing.

All three are the same price. Mix them in any combination.
How many modules do I need to start?

You can start with one Screw Slot module as a standalone element. To build the display we advise two Screw Slot modules (your wall anchor points) and two standard modules. That’s a functional four-module display. Most customers start with 6–10 modules and expand over time.

We recommend starting with a Starter Set that includes everything you need for your first wall display.

How much weight can a module hold?

Each module is engineered for the weight much higher than standard LEGO® sets and collectibles. The trapezoid connector and spring-loaded ball pin holds modules securely in place, and the system distributes load across the wall anchor points. The Base Plates for larger sets (F.L.5 and F.L.6) are reinforced with carbon fibre to prevent flex under heavier builds.

If you’re planning to display unusually heavy items, get in touch and we’ll advise on the right configuration.

What colours are available?

FAVO modules are manufactured in multiple colours using Nobufil’s recycled ABS range, which offers 46 production-consistent colours. We currently offer 5 colours which are available in all module sizes, back options, and mounting variants on our store.

LEGO® Compatibility

Is FAVO compatible with LEGO®?

Yes. FAVO modules are designed specifically for LEGO® and collectible sets. Compatibility comes through the Base Plate system: removable plates with LEGO®-compatible stud spacing that clip into any module. Six Base Plate sizes are available (37mm to 237mm), so you can match the plate length to your set.

What are the Base Plates?

Base Plates are removable “interface” that clip into the female slot on the inside bottom wall of any FAVO module. For LEGO®, they have a stud-compatible surface that holds your sets in place. Six sizes are available, from the F.L.1 (37mm, for minifigures) to the F.L.6 (237mm, for large sets). Sold individually from £1.30.
Swap them anytime - no adhesive, no tools.

Do the Base Plates work with LEGO® Technic?

The Base Plates use standard LEGO® stud spacing. They’re compatible with any LEGO® product that connects via studs, including Technic builds that use standard stud connections. For Technic builds that use only pin connections without studs, you may need to use a standard LEGO® baseplate as an intermediary.

Can I display non-LEGO® items?

Yes. FAVO modules work for any collectible that fits within the hexagonal space. With flat Base Plate installed, the module is an open hexagonal display frame. For non-LEGO® collections (model trains, Warhammer miniatures, vinyl figures, or anything else) we offer a custom Base Plate design service. Tell us what you need to display, and we’ll design the interface plate.

Wall Mounting & Installation

How does FAVO attach to the wall?

Two Screw Slot modules. Two screws. That’s it.

The Screw Slot is a standard F.1 or F.2 module with a precision-cut slot on the back wall. You can mount two side by side using ordinary screws as they provide horizontal alignment and anti-rotation stability. Every other module in your display connects to these anchor modules through the standard FAVO trapezoid connection. No additional wall fixings needed.

What tools do I need to mount FAVO?

Three things:

  1. A drill with a 6mm masonry or multi-purpose drill bit
  2. A screwdriver (manual or electric)
  3. A pencil to mark the wall

That's it. The wall plug, screw, and Screw Cap are all included with every Screw Slot module. No additional hardware required.

What happens if my display grows bigger than 30 modules?

Every pair of Screw Slot anchor modules supports up to 30 standard modules within a 50cm radius. When your display grows beyond that, or extends in a particular direction along the wall, you simply add another Screw Slot module at the right point to keep the structure balanced. One additional screw, one additional anchor. Your display can grow as large as your wall allows, adding support points as it expands. We'll publish detailed How-To videos on our YouTube channel showing exactly how to plan anchor placement for larger configurations.

What type of wall does FAVO work on?

Almost any wall found in UK homes. The included Fischer UX Green wall plug is designed to work in:

  • Concrete
  • Solid brick
  • Perforated brick
  • Aerated concrete (Thermalite, Celcon, etc.)
  • Natural stone
  • Sand-lime brick
  • Gypsum plasterboard (including stud walls)
  • Gypsum fibreboard (Fermacell)
  • Chipboard and timber-framed walls

The Fischer UX Green is a universal plug which expands in solid materials and knots itself in hollow or board materials. If your wall is made of something, this plug almost certainly works in it.
For plasterboard-only walls (no stud behind the fixing point), the load capacity is lower. A single FAVO F.1 module weighs ~37g, and a fully loaded display of 30 modules plus sets weighs well under the plug's rated capacity even in plasterboard, but we recommend fixing into a stud or solid wall wherever possible for the most secure hold.

Can I take FAVO down and move it?

Yes. Remove the modules by hand (the trapezoid connection releases without tools), unscrew the two Screw Slot modules, and the entire display is portable. The two small holes in the wall are easily filled. This is a deliberate design choice: FAVO is modular and portable, not permanent.

What mounting hardware comes with the Screw Slot module?

Every F.1 Screw Slot module ships with a mounting kit in a paper bag:

  • 1× Fischer UX Green 6×35 wall plug (made from at least 50% renewable raw materials)
  • 1× 4mm × 40mm stainless steel screw
  • 1× Colour-matched Screw Cap

The Fischer UX Green is a universal wall plug that works in virtually any wall material; concrete, brick, aerated concrete, natural stone, plasterboard, and more. It has the same load-bearing capacity as a standard wall plug, just greener. The stainless steel screw won't rust, and the Screw Cap clips into the front of the module for an invisible finish.

How much weight can the wall mounting hold?

The Fischer UX Green 6×35 wall plug has the following rated safe loads (single anchor, with safety factors already applied):

  • Concrete: 0.40 kN (~40 kg)
  • Solid brick: 0.20 kN (~20 kg)
  • Aerated concrete: 0.20 kN (~20 kg)
  • Plasterboard (12.5mm): 0.10 kN (~10 kg)

A single F.1 module weighs 37g. Even a fully loaded display of 30 modules with LEGO® sets inside (with two Screw Slot anchor points) sits well within the safe load range for any wall type. The weight is distributed across the entire cluster through the module-to-module connections, with the two Screw Slot modules carrying the load to the wall.

Material & Sustainability

What is FAVO made from?

100% recycled ABS plastic, supplied by Nobufil GmbH (Austria). The material is post-industrial waste; offcuts and production rejects from European factories that has been recovered and processed into certified recycled filament and pellets. Zero virgin plastic in any FAVO product.

How long will FAVO last?

FAVO modules are engineered for a 20+ year design life. ABS is a robust engineering plastic used in automotive, electronics, and construction. The ±0.1mm manufacturing tolerance ensures modules produced years apart will connect identically. This is not disposable shelving, it’s a long-term system.

Does FAVO protect my collection from dust?

Honest answer: no. FAVO is an open display system designed to showcase your collection, not enclose it. The Open Back and HEX Back options are fully open to air. Even the Full Back option has an open front face. For dust-sensitive collections, many collectors position their display away from high-traffic areas or add periodic gentle cleaning to their routine. We chose open display deliberately as sealed cases hide your collection. FAVO shows it off.

We’re preparing compatible clip-on UV resistant acrylic front cover options for future release.

What happens to FAVO modules at end of life?

You return them to us. Our Return & Reuse programme accepts worn or unwanted modules, shreds and pelletises the material, and reintroduces it into production. The module you return becomes the raw material for the next product. 10% of production costs are reserved from every unit sold to fund this recovery infrastructure. The material never becomes waste.

Is FAVO's packaging plastic-free?

Yes. Every order ships in recycled cardboard boxes with paper tape. No bubble wrap. No plastic fillers. No polystyrene. The product is made from recycled plastic. The packaging contains none.

Ordering & Shipping

Where can I buy FAVO?

Directly from favocs.co.uk. We sell directly to customers with no middlemen and no retail markup. This keeps pricing fair and gives us complete control over the brand experience. eBay listings are also planned to make FAVO available outside of the UK.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping costs are avaiable on our policies. We’re working to offer competitive UK delivery rates. FAVO modules are lightweight (37g for F.1, 100g for F.2) which keeps shipping costs low.

Can I order from outside the UK?

We do not currently ship internationally due to several reasons that you can ask about through our email.

Integrating international sale into this storefront is not our top priority at the moment, though it is planned to come in the future.

Do you offer a starter set or bundle?

Yes. We offer a Starter Set that includes two Screw Slot modules (your wall anchor), a selection of standard modules, and Base Plates - everything you need for your first wall display in one order.

What is your return policy?

Our returns policy is available here. If a module arrives damaged or defective, we will replace it.

About FAVO CS

Who is behind FAVO?

FAVO CS Ltd is a family business founded in Edinburgh by Pawel (Production & Strategy), Monika (Public Relations & HR), and Krzysztof (IT & Cyber Security). The company was incorporated in Scotland in October 2025 (SC868352). All three founders hold equal equity and have invested personally from day one.

Meet the team -->

Where is FAVO made?

Edinburgh, Scotland. All FAVO modules are manufactured in-house using our own 3D printing systems, with recycled ABS filament supplied by Nobufil from Austria. As we scale, manufacturing will evolve through hybrid injection moulding (Year 2) and full industrial production (Year 3), with everything being UK-based.

Is FAVO CS a real company?

Yes. FAVO CS Ltd is registered with Companies House (SC868352). We have three director-shareholders, a registered office in Edinburgh, and have been prototyping and testing with real customers since December 2025. We’ve completed the RBS Accelerator Programme, the ELEVATOR IMPACT Programme, and presented at ATRIA One (Edinburgh, March 2026) to over 200 professionals.

Can I invest in or partner with FAVO?

We’re open to conversations with aligned investors and partners. If you’re interested in FAVO’s vision and want to explore a relationship, please get in touch through our contact page.

Can I stock FAVO in my shop?

We’re focused on direct-to-customer sales but we’re open to wholesale discussions with aligned retailers, particularly independent hobby shops, LEGO® specialist stores, and sustainable lifestyle retailers. Get in touch and we’ll discuss.

FAVO vs. Alternatives

Why not just use IKEA® Billy or Kallax?

You can. Millions of collectors do. Billy and Kallax are affordable, widely available, and functional. But they weren’t designed for collections - they were designed for books and storage boxes. That means fixed shelf heights, no expansion without buying an entirely new unit, depth limitations (the standard Billy is 28cm, which is too shallow for many larger LEGO® sets), and an aesthetic that says “furniture” rather than “display.”
FAVO was engineered from the ground up for LEGO® and collectibles. Wall-mounted (no floor space used), modular (expand one unit at a time), reconfigurable (rearrange without tools), and made from 100% recycled material. It’s a purpose-built system, not a furniture hack.

We’re not anti-IKEA®. We’re pro-purpose-built.

How does FAVO compare to glass display cabinets?

Glass cabinets protect from dust and offer a polished presentation. FAVO does not seal your collection behind glass as it’s an open display system. The trade-off is deliberate: glass cabinets are fixed, heavy, expensive, and hide your collection behind reflections. FAVO is modular, wall-mounted, lightweight, and puts your collection front and centre. Different philosophy, different result.

There are hexagonal displays on Etsy. How is FAVO different?

Several sellers offer hexagonal display modules on Etsy and through free 3D printing files. FAVO differs in five ways: 100% recycled material (not virgin plastic), ±0.1mm manufacturing tolerance (not hobbyist print quality), a complete system architecture including Base Plates and Screw Slot mounting (not standalone hexagons), a 20-year design life, and a Return & Reuse programme that recovers material at end of life. FAVO is a manufactured product system from a registered UK company, not a marketplace listing.

Isn't FAVO more expensive than alternatives?

A single FAVO F.1 module is £6.50. A useful display requires 6–12 modules, putting the starting cost at approximately £40–£80. An IKEA® Billy bookcase costs around £50–90. On paper, similar. But Billy needs replacing every 3–5 years. FAVO lasts 20+. And FAVO expands - you buy 6 modules now, add 6 more next year. You never replace the system. Over 20 years, FAVO costs less than the shelving it replaces.
